Whether you or a loved one is battling a pornography addiction, your voice matters. The knowledge you have gained through your fight against pornography, in any form, deserves to be heard. Our goal is that your voice will echo throughout this website. Furthermore, you will find you are not alone. This is a community of unified women who are using their voices to uplift one another in this battle. Because, the truth is, we need to wage a full-blown war on pornography. We understand pornography thrives in secrets and darkness. Therefore, it is time for us to remove the darkness, shame, and lack of understanding.

MISSION STATEMENT
We are women who have been negatively affected by pornography. Whether we are battling this addiction personally or with a loved one, we have experienced the harmful effects of pornography and its destructive consequences. We UNITE WITH LIGHT in order to share, uplift, and inform other women.
MYKALA STEADMAN
Hey there! My name is Mykala and I am from a small town in Alaska. In December, I will be graduating from BYU-Idaho with my Bachelor's in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations. My two greatest passions are people and writing. UNITE WITH LIGHT has allowed me to combine these passions and truly connect with other women. Writing their stories has uplifted me in so many ways. My hope is you will find yourself also buoyed by the incredible strength of women fighting pornography in all its forms. I love you all already! Thanks for being here.

Hi, I’m Laura! I live in the beautiful mountains of Utah. Recently, I received my bachelor's in Marriage and Family Advocacy and Policy from BYU-Idaho. One of my goals in life is to actively improve society around me. I have spent a lot of time researching and discussing pornography with friends and colleagues. Sometimes the research and stories are heavy. But sharing my experiences, essentially “UNITING WITH LIGHT”, has lifted that burden from me. I hope that you feel welcomed, loved, and heard as you read the personal journeys of others or share your own.
